SOYEZ PROACTIF.<\/h3>\n<p>La dysfonction du plancher pelvien (DPP) est tr\u00e8s commune, mais contrairement \u00e0 la croyance populaire, ce n\u2019est pas une cons\u00e9quence du vieillissement et on peut la pr\u00e9venir. Environ 75% des femmes et 15% des hommes en seront affect\u00e9s durant leur vie.<\/p>\n<p>Le plancher pelvien est constitu\u00e9 de plusieurs muscles \u00e0 la base du bassin qui supportent la vessie, le rectum, le vagin et l\u2019ut\u00e9rus. Ces muscles supportent les fonctions urinaires, ano-rectales et sexuelles. Cependant, comme tous les autres muscles du corps, les muscles du plancher pelvien peuvent \u00eatre faibles, avoir des tensions et \u00eatre douloureux &#8211; ce sont les sympt\u00f4mes de ce qu&rsquo;on appelle une dysfonction du plancher pelvien. Les muscles du plancher pelvien sont aussi contr\u00f4l\u00e9s volontairement et ils peuvent \u00eatre entra\u00een\u00e9s ou \u00a0\u00bbr\u00e9\u00e9duqu\u00e9s\u00a0\u00bb pour vaincre\u00a0ses sympt\u00f4mes. En apprenant \u00e0 les\u00a0contracter et \u00e0 les relaxer de la bonne mani\u00e8re au moyen d&rsquo;exercices et de traitements manuels, mais aussi en adressant toutes dysfonctions trouv\u00e9es dans les autres structures du patient, nous pouvons r\u00e9gler les troubles du plancher pelvien.<\/p>\n<p>En France, en Belgique et au Royaume-Uni, la r\u00e9\u00e9ducation p\u00e9rin\u00e9ale est quelque chose courante et est couverte par le syst\u00e8me de sant\u00e9 gouvernemental. Le DPP peut provenir des muscles trop tendus du plancher pelvien, des tissus cicatriciels, ou d\u2019autres facteurs qui exigent une autre d\u00e9marche.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Plus que la moiti\u00e9<\/strong> des personnes sont incapables de contr\u00f4ler de fa\u00e7on efficace les muscles du plancher pelvien lors des exercices de Kegel. Souvent, on demande aux gens de faire les exercices en contractant les muscles du plancher pelvien comme s\u2019ils voulaient retenir le flux urinaire. Cet exercice est<strong> inefficace<\/strong> et peut mener \u00e0 une infection urinaire. Lorsque les gens ne sont pas guid\u00e9s, ils ont tendance \u00e0 compenser avec d\u2019autres muscles et ne r\u00e9ussissent pas \u00e0 utiliser ces exercices de mani\u00e8re efficace dans leur vie quotidienne.<\/li>\n<li>Le plancher pelvien ne travaille pas seul et a besoin du reste des muscles du tronc pour \u00eatre efficace. Les muscles du tronc comprennent le plancher pelvien, le diaphragme, le multifide (muscle thoracique dorsal profond), ET le muscle transverse de l\u2019abdomen. Tant qu\u2019une posture, une technique de respiration et de mouvements ad\u00e9quats ne sont pas adopt\u00e9s, le plancher pelvien continuera d\u2019\u00eatre ensurcharge et incapable de supporter les activit\u00e9s quotidiennes ou m\u00eame l\u2019entra\u00eenement physique.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-sep-clear\"><\/div><div class=\"fusion-separator fusion-full-width-sep
