Pelvic Floor 101! This is an introduction to what every woman needs know about their pelvic floor and what to do if common dysfunctions arise. The goal is to demystify and create an open discussion about pelvic health in a practical and interactive forum. The group is led by a pelvic health physiotherapist. Let’s start the discussion.

Topics include:

  • Understanding your pelvic anatomy
  • Common Pelvic floor dysfunctions (bladder, bowel, abdominal, sexual)
  • How to retrain your bladder
  • Lifestyle and diet modification
  • Practical exercises for prevention and treatment
  • Everyday tips and tricks to fit any lifestyle

Pelvic Hope – The Pelvic Pain Workshop

This group was developed to fill a need for programming designed specifically for people with chronic pelvic pain and the unique physical, emotional and social issues they experience. The group is guided by a licensed psychologist and pelvic health physiotherapist. Over 8 weeks participants will:

  • Come together to learn about pain control strategies that combine physical and cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Hear from guest lecturers in medicine, nutrition, and wellness
  • Share their own stories and coping strategies in an open, and supportive environment.
  • Develop a personal network of individuals with a common understanding of the issue

Champagne and Vaginas

The purpose of this unique evening is to give women permission to be unique, to be expressive and to take ownership of ALL their lady parts. Women’s health experts are going to talk real issues, dive into the nitty gritty of your brain AND your vagina, and do away with the Taboo! Come join us for a night of learning, discussion and champagne!

Acceptance – to feel good in our skin we must first understand how the female body works and know that it is normal then we can keep it performing at its best.
